McKenski Update

If you are here looking for details of a McKenski ski holiday, you are in the right place but at the wrong time.

After 16 winter seasons in the French Alps, many of them based in Chalet Le Rassel, I have sold up and returned to UK to be with my family. I now have four beautiful daughters (two of them, Anna and Ella are under 2!). So for the winter season 2006/7 I’m taking a well earned rest, taking a sabbatical and will just be skiing with my family.I might also organise just one or two small trips with friends.

I’ve had one dream, done that and now have another.

In the past six months I’ve set up a fabulous woodworking shop here on the farm and will concentrate on running a small bespoke furniture building business, building contemporary pieces, working mainly in oak. I’m also involved with Nicky and her catering business and, apart from the birth of baby Ella, we’ve also moved house and so it has been really rather busy.

To those of you that have been McKenski guests and especially to those of you who have become firm friends, I’d like to thank you for your support over the years and I have certainly enjoyed skiing with you in that time.
